Cover it with something freezing cold like ice or a bag of peas. It will hopefully solidify and chip off real easily then.

Ice bag for a short period of time. I would not use for long the water may damage the couch!!!

Get some ice from the freezer, put it in a bag so you don’t get the couch wet, and harden the gum as much as you can. Very carefully pick off the frozen bits of gum.

If you absolutely must try a cleaner on the couch, test it first on a hidden area. And make sure you treat the leather with a conditioner, because even if the cleaner doesn’t fade the color, it can be very drying to the leather.

I agree with the ice method. Put the ice in a plastic sandwich bag and wrap it in a paper towel to protect the couch from moisture. Hopefully the gum will break off when frozen.

Ice packs or frozen peas. When gum gets hard, peel it off.

Use ice and get it as cold as you can and pop off what you can. Most of it should come off. I’m assuming this is not suede. If there is anything left after that, use some mayonnaise or peanut butter. Rub it in and wipe it off.
